How Much Caffeine Is Too Much?
If your supplement contains caffeine, you need a running total. Here is how to keep one.
The general guideline
The FDA says about 400 milligrams a day is not generally associated with dangerous effects for most healthy adults.
Typical amounts
A cup of brewed coffee has roughly 80 to 100 mg. Tea has less. Energy drinks and pre-workout products can have much more.
Sensitivity varies
Some people feel jittery or sleepless on far less. Pregnancy, heart conditions and certain medicines change the picture.
Counting a gummy
SodaBoost does not publish its caffeine amount, so add a margin of safety and avoid stacking it with other stimulants.
Timing
Caffeine can linger for hours. Take it earlier in the day. See a morning routine for energy.
